HLTAID011 ( Provide First Aid )

This competency standard covers the skills and knowledge required to provide essential first aid in any required workplace, especially the security industry. It requires the ability to recognise and respond to an emergency using basic life support measures. The procedures described in this unit relate to providing an initial response where first aid is required. For example, ability to respond to emergency situations, demonstrating Rescue Breathing (R.B), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), fractures, head injuries and managing serious bleeding, Asthma, Stab / Shot wounds and so forth.Click Here for course brochure.

You will be required to complete the first aid training in two days. This will consist of a two day attendance at the training organisation. Please ring the institute for further information on starting dates.

The cost of the training for HLTAID011 Provide first aid is $200. Duration of course is 2 working days from 08.30AM till 4.30PM. Minimum deposit of $150 is required for booking.
