HLTFA301B Apply first aid (Level 2)
General Overview
This competency standard covers the skills and knowledge required to provide essential first aid in any required workplace, especially the security industry. It requires the ability to recognise and respond to an emergency using basic life support measures. The procedures described in this unit relate to providing an initial response where first aid is required. For example, ability to respond to emergency situations, demonstrating Rescue Breathing (R.B), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), fractures, head injuries and managing serious bleeding, Asthma, Stab / Shot wounds and so forth. Starting Dates
Technical Advanced Training provides an accelerated one day First Aid delivery program. It basically allows you to attend the institute or (alternatively we can attend your workplace)* for a full one day course to demonstrate competency in RB, CPR, Bandaging (Knots, Slings, Fractures) and undergoing a final written assessment. Some additional tasks will be completed throughout the student handbook in your own time.
*This can only be conducted for group bookings, minimum 6 students.
Alternatively
You will be required to complete the first aid training in two days. This will consist of a two day attendance at the training organisation. Please ring the institute for further information on starting dates.
Group Bookings and Discount Prices
Group bookings are available and we will come out to your workplace to provide first aid training. Workplace's must provide a safe training room environment. Please ring for competitive group prices.
Cost
Full Payment of $180.00 for HLTFA301B (Apply first aid) course at the institute. Duration of course is 2 working days from 10.00AM till 6.00PM
Minimum deposit of $100 is required for booking.
